In this article we aim to highlight the possibility of integrating the diagnostic evaluation with the results of empirical research in psychotherapy by identifying, from the beginning of the therapeutic path, the elements useful for the management of what appeared to be related to the success of the therapies (therapeutic and personalization factors). The system of Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis (OPD-2), characterized by an accurate phenomenological evaluation of the different areas of mental functioning and of the interpersonal and social context in which the patient moves, appeared to us a particularly useful tool for this purpose, allowing a personalized dia-gnosis that can also constitute a basis for a comparison between different theoretical approaches.
