Within the framework of the Eating Disorders Programme of the Parma Local Health Authority, one of the actions carried out, together with the clinical and therapeutic work with patients, is that of the group paths for family members according to the New Maudsley Model. The groups for parents and family members (also siblings, boyfriends and/or husbands/wives, etc.) are an important aid in a collaborative caring perspective, the caring of people with eating disorders not only by the professionals of the multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists and neuropsychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists/dieticians, nurses), but also with the help of the families.
