The book by Gandolfi and Blacks proposes and opens us, through the theme of specific learning disorders and with the deepening on 'what it takes to achieve the conquest of writing, reading and calculation', to a broader reflection on the theme of the 'quality' of the educational relationship. And quality has to do with the kind of investment the adult has in the children they are interacting with. Who is a child? What is the relationship between teaching and learning?
