First of all, I would like to say that I am glad to discuss with colleagues a text that I prepared alone, and I thank you for your careful reading and your willingness to engage in this kind of exchange. As Luca Leoncini observes, the notion of tenderness, as it is normally used and as it appears in dictionaries, may suggest only fragility or a small resistance to pressure, contained in the expression he mentions: ‘So tender you can cut it with a breadstick’.
