The analysis of Stern's publications in Italy reveals a curious fact: numerous publishing houses are involved, sometimes with different publishing purposes. To explain the peculiarity of this phenomenon, the authors try to reconstruct its logic, going back to the events that have punctuated and accompanied the history of Stern's Italian publishing.
