This work presents some theoretical and methodological elements concerning the psychological intervention aimed at perpetrators of violence, the result of decades of experience in this specific field. This article proposes to draw attention to the demand for intervention by the perpetrator of violence and offers a theoretical insight into the concepts of ‘mimetic desire’ and ‘identity desire’.
