Perhaps it is no coincidence that some authors, prima facie politically far from Oakeshott, such as Chantal Mouffe, theorist of 'left-wing populism', have positively evaluated the arguments of this philosopher, albeit within the limits related to the apparent overcoming of liberal positions and without sufficiently considering the fact that the overcoming of liberalism, in Oakeshott, is a dialectical overcoming, just in the sense of Hegel's philosophy.
