Breast cancer is the most frequent neoplasm in women.

Cure and survival rates have grown a lot in recent years thanks to the advent of innovative therapies.

The great social importance of the disease has led to the increasing concentration of efforts in order to obtain the best results also through the multidisciplinary management of the disease.

This article describes the activity of the Interdisciplinary Care Group (GIC) on breast cancer of the Alessandria Hospital.
