Objectives: The manuscript aims to formulate some considerations on the topic of suicide and attempted suicide. Methodology: The author has examined writings over a wide period of time on the subject of suicide and its prevention: The author concludes that a phenomenological approach in the management of inter-human relations could serve as a model for a better understanding of the other-from-me even when voluntary death is a (human) possibility.
