New Trend in Orthopedic and Traumatology

In 2020, a special issue of the Orthopedic Reviews will be published on “New Trend in Orthopedic and Traumatology”, guest-edited by Prof. Giulio Maccauro (chief of Departments of Orthopedic and Traumatology, Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli, Rome, Italy) and Dr. Carlo Perisano (Departments of Orthopedic and Traumatology, Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli, Rome, Italy).

The special issue will be focused on the innovation in the field of orthopedic and traumatology, with a particular focus on new technologies and their applications in the health field. Furthermore, the papers will focus on "hot topics" of orthopedic literature, trying to investigate debated aspects through systematic and non-systematic reviews.

Finally, through case-reports, the authors will present new innovative methods or explore rare pathology presentations.
